Drummy In Ya Tummy

A simple drum looper. This really only works well in Chrome and Microsoft Edge on a desktop or laptop computer. Mobile, Firefox, and IE 11 are all too slow/irregular, or handle the audio samples poorly. The drum samples are pulled from the wonderful open-source Hydrogen drum machine.

This is highly experimental right now and may break or change significantly, but my daughter likes it so I thought I'd publish it to let others play. This page will get prettier later. If you have no idea what this is about, scroll all the way down to the "Saved Beats" section and click "Load" on one of them, and then click "Play".

Help and Tricks

  1. The little plus sign button next to the instrument name adds the beat at the current position while the song is playing. Tricky to get right, but fun.
  2. Set the resolution to 32, and slow the tempo to 60 or less. That way you can pretend you have more than one measure.
  3. Set the volume on one instrument to 0, then after it plays for a bit you can add it in by turning up the volume at the right time.
