'Bible Code' Makes New Predictions

Michael Drosnin, author of the book "The Bible Code", announced last week that his computer program has uncovered new predictions of things to come.

"The Bible Code" makes predictions by arranging the letters of the Hebrew Bible in large blocks, and then a computer program searches through the blocks for words relating to a specific topic. For example, the words "Kennedy", "assassinate", and "Dallas" all appear together on the same section, thus it was predicted.

The new predictions were found when Drosnin wanted to see when the world would end. The results were, to say the least, startling. The program found the words "Earth", "melt", "butter", "boil", and "lobster" on the same small section of Exodus. "This is astonishing," says Drosnin, "This is the first indication we have of what the downfall of the planet will be. We are apparently going to be destroyed by tasty, butter-drenched seafood. Truly terrifying."

While Drosnin's previous prediction "The Pope will be hospitalized on the moon after getting linoleum poisoning" wasn't widely publicized, this round of predictions is certain to generate more controversy.
