ABBA Or Ace Of Base? Which Is The One True Musical Superpower?

When I decided to do this article, I originally intended to weigh the respective merits of each band against the other, delving deep into their biographies, songs, and styles, looking for some clues about what makes the members of each respective band tick.

In order to do this, I realized that: 1) I would actually have to do some research for this article, and 2) neither I, and by generalization, the rest of the world really cares about either of them. So what would be more fun would be to decide who would win in an MTV Deathmatch scenario.

Let's examine both sides. Both have two guys and what appears to be (in the case of ABBA) two girls. But just take a look at A of B, they look much meaner (what with their black leather and all) than the stargazing ABBA, who appear entranced by their own logo hovering above their heads, thus affording a chance for A of B to kick their asses.

Also, the chick second from the right in A of B could definitely kick the second from the right ABBA girl's ass (I think it's a girl anyway, the pantsuit and hair confuses me, either way, she/he has no chance). Finally, look at the guy on the far right in A of B, I might not be the best judge of character, but that guy definitely looks dangerous, at least as far as gray or red suit ABBA guys are concerned.

In conclusion, Ace of Base is great.
