Hallmark Holiday Special To Feature Family Reunited For The Holidays
A review by Chris Famunda

Plot twists leave the audience guessing

Hallmark, in an unprecedented move to sell Christmas cards, has opted to sponsor a made-for-television movie featuring a middle-class white girl who only wants her family back together for Christmas.

Her father is a hard working executive whose workaholic ways cost him his marriage, while her mother is now destitute, waiting tables at a strip club (except because of Hallmark, it was changed to a children's bookstore) to support her daughter. Anyway, the girl sits on Santa's lap (at least we're led to think he's Santa, while in reality he's an old man who has a daughter he hasn't seen in years, but don't worry, the little girl will reunite them as well), asks for her mom and dad to get back together for Christmas, or, failing that, a Red Ryder BB gun.

The gun is so she can shoot her bastard executive father and avenge her now-knocked-up-mother. Sounds like another holiday love-fest.
