Prank Caller Basks In Glory After Fooling Total Stranger After finishing up his tenth prank call of the night, Randy Amaya sits back with a satisfied smile and those around him cackle hysterically. This is a common sight on the set of Comedy Central's new hit show Crank Yankers, the show that has once again popularized prank calling. "I told that customer service representative I was an angry customer," says Amaya, "and she believed me! Can you believe it? Man! Is that not the funniest thing ever?" Those around him, the show's producers, agree: "The funniest part is that he never even bought the product he was complaining about! Ha! Pure gold. That's going on the air!" Amaya then asked those assembled how many people, besides himself, could fool somebody they've never met into thinking they're somebody else. "Did you hear how unconformable she sounded when I started cursing and threating her job and her mother's life?" bragged Amaya. "I'm a genius!" The call, dubbed 'Scaring a Woman', can be heard on the next Crank Yankers along with such memorable calls as 'Outing a Gay Man' and 'Annoying a Clerk'. Tweet |
