Jazz Fusion Band Explodes In A Shower Of Gamma Rays, High Energy Particles

Local experimental Jazz fusion band, Miles High Club, known for their unique combination of atmospheric jazz, classical music, hardcore rap, and sea shanties, may have inadvertently solved the world's energy needs.

Witnesses report that soon after the band broke into Blow The Man Down, Be-atch Cat, the band began glowing and emitting intense magnetic fields.

Approximately 25 milliseconds later, the entire band converted itself into energy, which was luckily directed straight upward, sparing everyone except the band itself.

"They kept saying their music was the most important thing to them," remembers Pamela Jean, quantum physicist and long time Miles High Club fan, "It turns out their music is important to all of us: Their deaths might mean free energy for everyone. They sacrificed themselves for science."
