University Of CA Starts New Philosophy Department

Always trying to keep up with the times, the University of California has opened a new philosophy department.

Sunflower Rainshine, the recently appointed Chairperson of the Lame Philosophy Degree Program, was pleased with the expansion, "The decision really shows that we are all connected at some unconscious level, and we all have our roots in nature."

Though the curriculum is largely undetermined, Rainshine expects the focus to stay well clear of the old philosophy standby's like Hume, Democratus, and Russell, "I expect the main flow of ideas to be centered around concepts of oneness, life energy, and how quantum physics will let us live forever as one perfect being."
