Confusion is apparently to blame for some misplaced "beeps" at the Tony Awards.

"We figured that with the five second delay they give us to edit out any vulgarities, if we started the beeps about five seconds before we thought they were going to swear, it would come out about right for a given time zone," says one editor.

Television watchers, outraged over the lack of competence displayed by the censors, said, "if those fucking #$%& would just #$% do their fucking #%$% right, this #$%% fucking world would be a #$$#$ place." To which the censors replied, "beep."
