Greenpeace Tries To Go Mainstream, Reaches Out To Public.

Greenpeace, tired of its reputation as a group of rich, white, fear-mongering, technophobic freaks, has launched a series of wacky stunts to show the world that Greenpeace activists are just normal, everyday people.
Greenpeace activists: "We can be goofy!"
Greenpeace activists: "We can be goofy!"

"Greenpeace activists," said a spokesman, "are just normal, everyday people."

In a recent event, Greenpeace gathered together large numbers of ugly people with painted faces and harassed consumers as they shopped. "In this event," said the spokesman, "we were going for your average abortion-clinic protester. I really think we reached them."

And to get in good with the "fraternity prankster" demographic, activists donned giant missile suits and invaded military bases where they painted slogans on buildings and kept police at bay for days.

"Those guys," said the spokesman with a chuckle, "I never know what they'll do next!"
